| Introduction | ||
Since
1969 the Max-Planck-Gesellschaft(MPG) has been supporting gifted, young
scientists and researchers through its Independent Junior Research Groups,
which run for a limited period of time. Therefore, JRGs promote talented
young scientists by offering them the opportunity to qualify for management
positions in science at the MPG or other institutions. APCTP exchanged
agreement with MPG and POSTECH for establishment of JRGs at APCTP, so
APCTP has been launching two JRGs in 2008. |
||
¡Û
MPG has been running over 100 JRGs since 1969. ¡Û The Leader of JRG pursues his/her own research program. ¡Û The Leader of JRG improves his/her research capacity and leadership, and gets a good position after JRG.: |
