  Scope
This is an interesting time for superconductivity and new material research. The initial excitement about the high temperature superconductivity was subdued with time. Yet, accumulation of experimental data and theoretical progress on one hand and discovery of new superconductors on the other continue to throw us new ideas and clues for deeper understanding. In parallel, discovery of novel materials like graphenes presents us with scientific and technological challenges. In this setting, we organize the 2009 APCTP Winter Workshop on Frontiers in Electronic Quantum Matter on the theme of ¡°Pnictide and cuprate high temperature superconductors through graphenes¡± to provide in-depth overviews and recent developments in the field of superconductivity and new material of graphenes in an informal atmosphere. We invite everyone interested to come join us in the beautiful coastal town of Namhae.

  Information
Travel information to Hilton Namhae Resort.
If you fly from overseas, it is better to make your flight reservation all the way to Yeosu airport. You first fly into the Incheon international airport (ICN). Then, take a shuttle bus from ICN to Kimpo airport (about 50 min ride), and take a domestic flight from Kimpo to Yeosu (about 60 min flight). From Yeosu airport to Hilton Namhae, get a rental car or take a taxi. Taxi will take about 60 min and costs 100,000 KW. Depending on where you begin your trip you may need to stay over in Seoul.
