Last update: Feb.01 2010 Scope This is an interesting time for superconductivity and new material research. The initial excitement about the high temperature superconductivity was subdued with time. Yet, accumulation of experimental data and theoretical progress on one hand and discovery of new superconductors on the other continue to throw us new ideas and clues for deeper understanding. In parallel, discovery of novel materials presents us with scientific and technological challenges. In this setting, we organize the 2010 APCTP–A3 Winter School and Workshop on Frontiers in Electronic Quantum Matter to provide in-depth overviews and frontier developments in the field of superconductivity and novel materials in an informal atmosphere. We invite everyone interested to come join us in the beautiful resort town of Pyeong Chang in the rugged eastern part of Korea.
Period Feb. 1, 2010 (Monday) – Feb. 5, 2010 (Friday)
Venue The Phoenix Park (Topaz room on the 3rd floor at the hotel), Korea. This is a beautiful ski resort in the rugged eastern part of Korea.
