Title: Final circular of APCTP Winter School on Black Hole Astrophysics 2006

Dear Participants,

APCTP Winter School on Black Hole Astrophysics 2006 starts next week. Below are some information for all participants. In case we may send another final circular, please check your mail and BH2006 webpage until the last minute.

[1] Program:
Please check the final program at the webpage http://www.apctp.org/bh2006/program.htm . The morning of 17 Jan. is for Preschool lectures and registration. Preschool lectures on black holes and accretion are targeted for Korean graduate and undergraduate students, and will be given in Korean, but the presentation slides will be in English. Foreign participants and non-students can register and setup the posters during the Preschool while enjoying coffee or computers.

[2] Abstract:
Those of you who haven't provided abstract of the talk, please send us the abstract via e-mail as soon as possible.

[3] Passport Number:
Those of you who haven't provided the passport number for the building pass card, please send us the number via e-mail.

[4] Accommodations:
Please check your room assignment at the webpage http://www.apctp.org/bh2006/roomassign.htm for building names and assigned room numbers. You can pick up the key or get into the room as follows:
(1) Faculty Apartment: Go to the security office at building #5 to pick up the key. Please leave the key at the security office for your roommates when you leave. Check out time, 11:00am.
(2) Sang-Nam Guest House: Go to POSTECH Residence Management Team located at Dormitory building 14. Check out time, 11:00am.
(3) Motel Sunshine (054-275-3003): POSTECH told us just yesterday that dormitory is not available. Hence, most Korean students have to stay at the designated motel outside the campus. We apologize for the inconvenience. Details about the motel will be sent out soon.

[5] How to arrive:

[6] Meals:
Breads and sandwiches for breakfast will be served at APCTP from Jan. 17 to Jan. 20. Meal coupons for lunch (Jan. 17-20) and dinner (Jan. 18-19) will be provided when you register. Banquet is in the evening of Jan. 17. There are cafeterias in Jigok Community Center (#16) and in Student Union (#10) (please refer to Guest House Handbook http://www.apctp.org/bh2006/Guest_House_handbook.pdf for details).

[7] Tour:
Those who want to join a half-day tour to Gyeongju (or some place else if there are enough requests) on Jan. 20, please let us know. If there is any charge at all, it will be for one meal and minimal entrance fee.

[8] Parking:
Those who arrive by car should park in the guest parking space and report to APCTP immediately unless you want a nasty sticker in your windshield.

[9] Reimbursement:
Please keep all your transportation receipts in case we need them for reimbursement.
