Our
Guest House can be found on
the 15th floor in Faculty Apartments.
It takes about a 20-minute walk
from POSTECH. There is a free
shuttle bus to campus each morning
and evening. A short cut in
the back of the buildings makes
walking to campus faster than
if you take the main street.
Faculty apartments are large,
spacious and comfortable. Most
are three bedroom units. These
apartments come fully furnished.
POSTECH provides well-maintained
dormitories offering the best
academic conditions. The Student
Affairs Office guides the educational
life of the students by maximizing
students self-regulation and
by minimizing the inconveniencies
of dormitory life. Residents
of the students dormitories
and the apartments for graduate
students are required to cooperate
with each other to maintain
their surroundings. All residential
matters are supervised by six
staff members in the Dormitory
Office.

The two supreme treasures of
Gyeongju are the Pulguksa temple
and nearby Seokguram Grotto
shrine.
Both completed in the eighth
century and are representative
of the highly refined Buddhist
art widely appreciated throughout
East Asia. They were included
on UNESCO's World Heritage List
in 1995. Other important historic
sites include: Dumuli Park,
Oneung (Five Tombs), Cheomseongdae
(observatory), General Gim Yusin's
Tomb, and Mt. Namsan which is
dotted with numerous Buddhist
images, pagodas and temple remains.
