Schools provide graduate students and young postdoctoral researchers by international training-programs including intensive lectures and seminars on the current research topics in physics. APCTP International Schools contribute to the international training of young scientists in the Asia Pacific region through the organization of international program and lecturers, and Domestic Schools are focused on domestic communities. These are held at the Center or other approved locations during the winter/summer vacation.

Schools are chosen through the Call for Programs each year. It is advised that at least one Korean scientist or center academic coordinator is present as a member of the organizing committee of the proposed program for better local support and coordination.
