Focus Programs set up a benchmarking of the programs from Newton Research Institution in the UK. The purpose is to attract small groups of active international researchers to the Center in a sharply focused field of the utmost interest in physics and related topics.

The core organizers and participants are encouraged to have intensive collaborations and discussions at the Center for two weeks up to one month.

Focus Programs are chosen through the Call for Programs each year. It is advised that at least one Korean scientist or center academic coordinator is present as a member of the organizing committee of the proposed program for better local support and coordination .
