From Western Co-op Residence to KIAS

Bus [fare: 900 Won(cash); 800 Won(card)]

• Blue bus "104" or "149" :
  1. Take a blue bus 104 or 149 at "Euljiro 5-ga" (see Map 1) and stop off at "Korea Open University (Han guk Bang song Tong sin Dae hak kyo)."
  2. Transfer to a blue bus 273 [fare: 900 Won(cash); free(card)] and stop off at "Hongreung Elementary School (Hong nung Cho deung Hak kyo)." You can find KIAS across the road.
• Blue bus "144" :
  1. Take a blue bus 144 at "Dongdaemun Stadium" (see Map 1) and stop off at "Korea University (Ko ryo Dae hak kyo)."
  2. Transfer to a blue bus 273 [fare: 900 Won(cash); free (card)] and stop off at "Hongreung Elementary School (Hong nung Cho deung Hak Gyo)" which is the second stop from Korea University. You can find KIAS across the road. If you like, you can walk to KIAS from Korea University. It takes about 10 - 15 minutes. See How to get to KIAS.
• Blue bus "261":
  1. Take a blue bus 261 at "Euljiro 6-ga" (see Map 1) and stop off at "Hwigyeong Market."
  2. Take a blue bus 273 [fare: 900 Won(cash); free(card)] at Hwigyeong Market across the road and stop off at "Hongreung Elementary School (Hong nung Cho deung Hak kyo)." If you like, you can walk to KIAS from Hwigyeong Market. It takes about 10 - 15 minutes. See How to get to KIAS.

Subway [fare: 900 Won(single ticket); 800 Won(card)]

• Route 1 (easier): Take the subway line 2 at "Dongdaemun Stadium" station and transfer to line 6 at "Sindang" station. Get off at "Korea University (Jongam)" station. Walk to KIAS or take a bus 273 following the above explanation.
• Route 2: Walk to "Jongno 5-ga" station (see Map 1). Take the subway line 1 and get off at "Hoegi" station. (Warning: Don't take the train bound for "Cheongnyangni" even if it goes to the same direction.) Walk to KIAS or take a bus 273 following the above explanation.
• Route 3: Take the subway line 4 at "Dongdaemun Stadium" station and transfer to line 1 at "Dongdaemun" station which is the next station. Get off at "Hoegi" station. (Warning: Don't take the train bound for "Cheongnyangni" even if it goes to the same direction.) Walk to KIAS or take a bus 273 following the above explanation.
