Generation and Evolution of Cosmic Structure

Scientific Scope

Our main research theme is to understand the generation and evolution of the cosmological perturbations. They are believed to be generated in the very early universe, presumably during primordial inflation, and later become the seed of the observable structure such as the cosmic microwave background (CMB) and the large scale distribution of the galaxies (large scale structure; LSS). With precise upcoming cosmological observations ahead, our focuses are to study non-linear processes quantitatively and to provide a coherent picture on the evolution of the universe.
