The APCTP Junior Research Group (JRG) in Theoretical Cosmology, led by Prof. Kaloian Lozanov, welcomes applications for two postdoctoral positions. The group is based in APCTP in Pohang, South Korea (for more information, please, visit www.apctp.org).

APCTP, founded in 1996, is an international organization dedicated to excellence in research and the training of young scientists in the Asia-Pacific region. APCTP offers a great research environment with strong connections to a number of active theoretical and experimental research groups at the Pohang University of Science and Technology (POSTECH). APCTP has broad international agreements with many leading institutions around the globe for scientific exchanges.

The research interests of the group lie in phenomenological applications of quantum field theory and general relativity in early-Universe cosmology. The candidates are expected to have completed a Ph.D. degree in a relevant field of study by the time of employment. Experience in numerical methods is an advantage. Each position is for one year, with possibility for an extension upon mutual agreement. Applications will be reviewed until the positions are filled. The starting date can be negotiable.
