주요사업내역을 안내해드립니다.
We conduct research in theoretical high-energy physics, specializing in quantum information science and holographic duality. Our main goals are to explore the quantum aspects of gravity and black holes, investigate strongly coupled quantum field theories, study the dynamics of quantum information, and apply artificial intelligence to problems in theoretical physics. Our work integrates a variety of methods from quantum field theory, string theory, general relativity, quantum information theory, and machine learning.
Professor Hyun-Sik Jeong is the JRG Leader at the Asia Pacific Center for Theoretical Physics (APCTP) in Korea. He received a Ph.D. from the Gwangju Institute of Science and Technology (2020). He held postdoctoral positions at the Kavli Institute for Theoretical Sciences at UCAS (2020-2022) and the Institute for Theoretical Physics (IFT) UAM-CSIC (2022-2025), before joining APCTP. His research interests include high-energy physics, gravitational physics, quantum information, and artificial intelligence.
